It has been along time since I posted to this blog but I have been reading all along.This was my first book that I have read by Vanessa Davis Griggs and I must say this book is sooooo good. God is good!! Gabrielle Booker a.k.a. Gabrielle Mercedes was trained as a dancer by Mrs. Crowe when she was a little girl but one day Mrs. Crowe had a car accident and Gabrielle never found out what happen to her. Gabrielle was being raised by her aunt because her mother died at the hands of her father. Her life has been one disappointment after another until she is invited to attend Followers of Jesus Faith Worship Center. She was so moved by the sermon that she gave her life to Christ. The devil is a lie! Everything good in Gabrielle’s new life seems to be counterbalanced by attack after attack from the devil. Gabrielle has to decide between the temptation to go back to her old life or stand her ground and hold onto God's hand no matter what.
